According to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, 15,578 divorces were registered in the first six months of this year. Yes, the statistics are grim. But we plan to change that.
Children deserve a happy childhood. That’s why we want to open “Dotyk” — a place where families can receive the support and help they need.
Our mission is to preserve relationship within families where possible and to protect children from physical and psychological abuse, emotional trauma, and stress. That’s why we aim to rebuild trust through psychological support and mediation.
“Dotyk” will become a safe place for family meetings. Parents may be referred here by social services or the court in cases where:
- A difficult divorce has occurred, and the parents struggle to control themselves in front of the child;
- Domestic violence has taken place, and the child needs a secure environment;
- Parental rights have been revoked, and the child has no contact with the mother or father;
- There is a risk of child abduction by one of the parents;
- Parents find it hard to maintain communication, or the child has been alienated.
Such important work needs support, as the center can only keep going with donations. So, we're looking for like-minded people and would appreciate your help.
